Cotswold Outdoor Ltd First stop for camping trips
I have seen this shop as a supply store for short camping trips so my needs have never been particularly demanding. However saying this, Cotsworlds has met all my requests satisfactorily. They offer discounts for Duke of Edinburgh participants which is useful and are very capable with dealing with customers’ questions. The store is also surprisingly big for a small village; I had thought I would have had to go to another shop for some of my items but I found everything in this one.

This is an excellent store and have visited it many times for camping essentials but also unlike you might expect for general clothing like waterproofs. The staff are very helpful and will be happy to show you where everything is. Top rating :)

Cotswold Outdoor Ltd Useful for Duke of Edinburgh expedition equipment
Both my children do Duke of Edinburgh and Cotswold is great for equipment and items such as camping food. The members of staff are really helpful too and are good with advice. Because the children do Duke of Edinburgh they are entitled to a discount – although both have temporarily ‘lost’ their cards (nestling somewhere in the depths of the piles of clothes etc on their bedroom floors) and none of us can remember exactly how much the discount they get is.

I was preparing for a pan-continental drive from London to Ulaan Baatar in Mongolia and was looking for some tents and cooking equipment.

The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the kind of kit that we may need. They even told me about how they get sent on expeditions to try out the kit and get first hand knowledge of their stock. You can't ask for more than that!

Anyhow, they suggested that I rang when the store manager was in and talk to him about some deals he could give us... Needless to say he was incredibly accommodating and sorted us out with a whole sponsorship package! They donated a whole host of top quality Cotswold equipment which after our rally we donated to charities in Mongolia.

What a wonderful store, with wonderful staff! Go to cotswold outdoor and you never know what you'll come out with!
